    equal to 250w halide at 6" above water.
    won't it get splashed? then what?

    a 6' tank. you need 6 cables to hang 3 units? ridic , no?

    I think if it gets splashed you can say goodbye to 800 dollars. Plus the fan on the bottom is sucking air in so that means there would be water in the internals.

    at 6" it WILL get splashed. so is this light fatally flawed?

    Im not sure that it would be guranteed to get splashed, that seems to be dependent on the persons tank. I had a t5 light mounted maybe 3 inches AWL and it never got wet.

    i 've had mh 10" above splashed and broken.
    that's 80 bucks

    we're talkin 800 smackers here. kinda risky imo.

    Yeah, I'd go with an AI, doesn't have that fan or red LEDs.
