    Hi any idea what these two items are ? the second one is growing in a few places?
    My setup is about 6 weeks old.

    I think the no2 one is a Filter Feeder??? but not positive...

    I looked up colonial truncate but it just doesn't really look like that IMHO?
    I will attempt a better picture tomorrow and see if it is easier to identify :-/

    Number 1 was correctly ID'd as a sea squirt/tunicate

    Number 2 is either a Caulerpa holdfast or Chaetomorpha

    Ahh... Number 2... dont know why, i was thinking Chaeto and put somthing diff.... i think the wife had me distracted.....

    Should I remove the sea squirt/tunicate? kinda ugly looking but dont mind it? If I should remove how?

    They're filter feeders. It won't hurt anything. Leave it be.
