your nitrates are kinda high I would do a water change. for calcium depending on your saltmix it could just be what it puts it at.

which salt mix are you using?
and which test kit are you using?

some salts are not as calcium enriched as other
some test kits are not as accurate as others

when its time to do 1st water change , test the new water in the bucket to see what your starting with.

Double check your test results. Can you test Ammonia and nitrite as well? Your nitrates seem high and you may want to do a water change.

I wouldn’t be concerned of the calcium levels at this point – are you certain of these test results? What is in this tank right now? Just sand or is there live rock? If your sig is describing this tank you have 50 pounds of live rock which could be coralline encrusted which is calcium dependent – absent of water changes and or supplements I would expect your levels to drop as you described. That is until it dies off during the cycle anyway.

Lets focus on your levels, please post the other results so we can gauge where you are in your cycle and what you should do next.

not sure if it was mentioned, but if youre cycling , do not do a water change. this will prolong the cycle. let everything work its way through. as said before, no need to worry about your calcium levels now. ammonia, nitrite and nitrate are the numbers that matter. good luck with it trebor
