    - White String: 6xCW 3xNW 3xRB (Yes XT RBs take up to 1.5A so you can mix with whites)
    - Blue String: 12xRB
    - Color String: 2xDeep Red 2xCyan 2xBlue 6xTrue Violet(420nm)
I had experience with Turquoise and Cyan, Id go with Cyan by Philips, just better diodes.

    All from RapidLED :D

428nm Violets from ledgroupbuy are better, spectrum and quality wise.
I would still get rid of the CW or at least have more NW

Pretty much what I was thinking, but you think only 9 whites is enough?

Yes! (and I'm one of those who don't like the light to be too blue)

Shin actually has a tank with these LEDs, and speaking from observational exprience it sorta rocks.... HARD

    You're welcome!

Yes, that's a good ratio. If you wanted more regular blue that's okay also, but I personally think 2 deep red/2 cyan is enough for your tank. I'd put them in small clusters, so one red and one cyan on each side of the tank as close together as possible so the colors blend before hitting the water.

this- except add a couple more blue.

I like the CW to NW ratio here. IMO you need the CW as other spectrums don't quite color plus it seems to blend better and look more crisp

I had 28 LEDs over my 26 gallon nano. Here is a link to the thread of my build. http://www.3reef.com/forums/led-aqu...d-makersled-heatsink-135913.html#.UkpgqWTXiXQ

I had a very similar setup, three dimmable drivers controlled by a Typhon. If you are going to use the colored LEDs, I wouldn't use any NW, or just a few.

The only issue I had was figuring out what would go on what driver. The colored LEDs had different maximum currents and then those differed from the white and blue currents as well.
