    First question- how many of you guys use RO/DI water? Second how many run a calcium reactor? Just getting it all in place to start my rebuild. Thanks in advance.

    I have RO/DI unit but do not need calcium reactor as my water changes keep level around 440

    Yes I use only RO/DI and yes I use a calcium reactor. I would not go back to dosing for all the $$ in the world.

    Smart move. Water is the single largest ingredient in a reef tank and everything depends on its quality and its stability. If it is worth doing, it is worth doing right the first time. Start with RO/DI from the very beginning.
