20 gallon FOWLR

does ocotopus make nano, or small sized skimmers and if so, which one should i look at. My Octopus BH 800s will arrive tomorrow so i'm hoping it's going to be a good skimmer.

 

i'm going to try to buy the water from the lfs until i get tired enough of having to go and buy water all of the time, then i will give in and get my own ro/di unit. I'll take a look into adding cheato into his tank. Flow at the surface is horrible, so really not much flow there. And thanks for the help

 

If you want to increase flow to the surface just grab a k1 or small maxi jet and point it towards the top of the tank! Cheap way to help the gas exchange and make a cool ripple across the top of the water

 

kk i'll look into that too, i'll eventually start the tank renovation, i think i will start it when i eventually get my light for the the 46 and pay off the c.c. then i should be able to slowly start with my puffers tank

 

i might have a spare mj or k1 laying around my basement when i mosey on down there ill check if i do, i can usps ground ship it to ya all you gotta do is pay me for the shipping

 

kk i'll think about it right now my c.c. is full from buying my skimmer and other stuff that i bought that's non fish related
