Here is a video of my up and running tank! And it never would have been up and running if it wasn't for everyone here on 3reef. Thanks a lot everyone!

its been up and running since april 15 and plan on getting a lot of frags in the near future.

as you can see i re-did the aquascape and now theres only 2 inches from the top of the water in the tank to my rock. I was pretty excited about that. And there is also a lot more caves and crevices just like everyone on here recommended. Enjoy!

please leave any questions or comments

    Thanks,
    Ryan

Im surprised you havent got any feedback yet. The use of the closet for sump is awesome. I wish I had space for something like that. Are you planning on making the sump a fuge?

No way, that tank rocks. You did a really good job kidd-o. Very nice. K+ in a major way. Remember, you have to be a member to post, most of those people were probably just checking out threads......

Really good job Ryan. Obviously a lot of thinking and care went into the set-up. As stated previously, the use of the closet is great. I wasn't expecting that.;D

Thanks a lot Pharmr you were the one who helped me through most of the stuff on this tank. I really do appreciate all you have helped me with. thanks a lot and look forward to many more of your help to come

thanks. I really like the sump in the closet because maintenance on the filters, heaters, and pump is extremely easy and i dont have to be reaching into a stand. Thanks for the compliment. I do plan on making it into a fuge but the only thing stopping me is installing separators to the sump because i hear that the fuge needs to be separate from the return pump and everything.

Dont let that stop you. Iv never made a fuge out of a tank but there are so many people on here who have. Should be easy with some direction from them. I didnt notice the filters on the sump as first then I thought about it for a min and remembered not seeing heaters or any other equipment in the display tank. Very clean setup. Keep the vids and pics coming.

    Update:

Here are some more updates on the tank. As you can see i added 2 percs and a royal gramma (within a 3 week spread). I also re-aquascaped a little. I saved up a lot of money ($150) for my Washington DC trip. The school took us it was really fun. Anyways, i didnt spend any of it. I am going to get a ton of coral and frags either tomorrow or the next day. I can not wait. Any suggestions on what else i should spend it on would be great. I thing im upgrading to Koralia powerheads but i dont know. Thanks!

excuse the bad pics and the dirty water i just re-aquascaped.

PS: This is the first time ever that i came home from a vacation and nothing died or went wrong in my tank!!!! so happy!
