Wow. I think Ill set up with the small power head and up it to see how they do. I would much rather have more flow. Maybe a small korelia cant have a tank without one of those. What kind of power heads do you use to keep them from being sucked in?

Finally moving forward on this one.

Just ordered the in tank fuge:
    MarineDepot.com

    And an LED clip light:
    MarineDepot.com

Not sure how the light will work out for lighting the fuge and display but I want to stay all LED to keep heat down on this tank. I may even add a chiller to keep water around 65.

    My next steps will be:

rock and sand as soon as the fuge and lights get here
    chaeto in the fuge
    small korelia for surface agitation

I have a few rocks in tank already with a damsel to get them started so Im not expecting a long cycle. I should be starting to cycle this weekend if all goes well.

More updates. Got my in tank fuge, light, a korelia and a UV filter. The heater is on the way and I will be ordering a bio wheel filter within the next week. Should be ready for horses now. Its under a forced test right now. All my fish are being QT'd in there for ich with all the rock taken out so the bacteria in it wouldnt die. I have the fuge filled with chaeto and its doing an amazing job. 4 fish and a snowflake eel in a 20 gallon with no filtration and I cant detect ammonia, nitrite, or nitrate. By the time I get the bio wheel on there this will be one beast of a system. Anyway heres a pic for you. Ill post more when the water clears.

Oh and a side note about the LED light. To anyone doubting the use of LED's they are amazing. This is the low end of the technology and still it penetrates to the bottom of my tank and has great color. We will see how the plants grow though.
