Being the HUGE fan that I am, I was watching Auburn play last Thursday, not the Saints vs. that old guy, and Pryor was mentioned during the telecast. He was compared to Auburn's quarterback, Cam Newton, and I quote:

"They both wear #2 so the comparison is easy. The only difference that I can see is when Cam runs, he can lower his shoulder, and he brings the wood."

I think Pryor is a good QB and should be in the running for the Heisman. My only problem is, they already decide who will be "playing" for the Heisman before the season even starts. Pryor, Locker, Luck, and Harris. Here's an idea...lets have all the "know-it-all's" on ESPN and CBS and wherever else shut up and wait until at least the 6th week before crowning one of these guys. And in no way do I think Cam Newton should be considered for the Heisman, he will do plenty of wrong this year. Maybe next year before the season starts, he'll toss his name in. ;)

P.S. How bout them canes...looked like a high school team last week...not #12 in the country.

The top 10 list I got this from didn't even mention locker or harris anymore

    Heisman Watch, Week 2

And as for those announcers comments about bringing the wood, rather than lowering his shoulder Pryor will typically just swat defenders off like flys instead ;)

Yelp Ohio won but then again Miami turned the ball over like 4 times just 20 or 30 yards from Ohio's end zone. You do that in any game and your apt to get the crap kicked out you. Only thing miami had was a return guy. I guess they tried to get him touches with kick offs lol.

We play Nebraska tomorrow! Should either be extremely exciting, or a huge butt kicking. We shall see!

I gotta give credit to your AD for paying for your scheduling bama. Man...how can you not be No. 1 with tough matchups like San Jose St., Duke, and the tough test at towards the end of the year, Georgia St. When you actually do have a good team play you...it's at home! Ha! Love the NCAA. ;) GL tomorrow. :p
