20gal mantis tank build

Ok Fred is molting and here is the Proof , I've managed to get a piece of his old exo !! I'll put up pics of his shiny new self when hes all done and comming out again !

I've noticed today that i never have to clean this tank ... for some reason its always perfectly clean .. how odd i dont even have to wipe down the glass

stupid diatoms

So , I redid the tank heres a pic .. the diatoms are killing me though not as bad as they were ( i did a big water change ) i also updated the lighting its got a 150w hqi and 2 14w t5 above it now so im going to be adding SPS to this tank ! its currently got 3 different montis in it 1 green 1 brown and a sunset monti im hoping will encrust So it'll be a "pico" reef ? lol

 

So when I bought my 55 it came with a fluval 304 but, I managed to crack the filter case right off the hop and had to replace the filter with a Rena xp3. Well one of my local feed stores shut down it's fish dept and I found a replacement case !! Good news for the mantis I can now lose the hob filter !! Huzah !!
