    Howdy, thanks for looking!

This is a 20H setup that I'll be converting into a broodstock tank for my Maroon Clowns (One Gold Stripe (F), one regular (M). The female's first stripe is just turning, so she's about a year old give or take, and just under two inches long. The male is about 1.25 inches, and still has his "orangey" color to him. Enough with the fish, lets get on with the tank!

I got this from a buddy in Michigan about six months ago. Having just moved to St. Charles, Il, I never had used it, so I figured it would make a good albeit simple broodstock tank for a pair of clowns. It's your standard 20H, probably a couple years old. No major scratches. I sprayed the back black with Games Workshop Chaos Black. I chose this simply as it is designed to stick really, really well. Its fairly thin, so it took a couple of coats.

The lighting is from my aborted 45G Cube tank. It's a 4x24 T5 Nova Extreme fixture. It has the formed reflector (not single bulb), so I managed to get it fairly cheap. Just running the stock bulbs at the moment. (Two Actinics, two Blues). I'm using a Visitherm Stealth 200 W heater and an AC110 with sponge/carbon/chemipure.
I plan on adding a couple of the new Hydor 425G Nano powerheads once I close on my house - its simply set up now to get the live rock cycled and the sand growing some bacteria. Having said that, I like this aquascape, and once I move it will probably never get it back to this way again. The large piece of LR that runs along the left side actually rests on the bottom - it does a great job of hiding the AC intake tube as well.

So thread useless without pics, so here's a couple I took tonight. The tank has been cycling about three weeks. There is about ~25lbs or so of live rock - of that six or seven pounds came from an established tank, the other was either baserock or left out to dry that I picked up when I set the tank up. The sand is 30lbs of black argonite (live) that was mixed in with about 5lbs of live sand from the same tank I got the live rock. I'll be putting another 20lbs of black argonite in when I finally move the tank to its permanent spot.
I'm shooting for a deep sand bed of about four to five inches. I did place eggcrate under the sand so the rock is resting on that, and can't be dug out under.

Sorry for the pics - can't find my camera, these are from my Moto Qc phone.

Hope to add some more pics when I finally move the Maroons into it. Here's a bad camera phone shot of the Maroons:

Thanks - updates to come when I finish cycling and can find my camera :)

    welcome
not played for many years, probably last time was 2005 in a Games Workshop in Manchester UK but got my eldest son who is 8 interested in painting the miniatures - we started a Tomb Kings army recently ( E bay job lot from Hong Kong) - painting skeletons is a nice easy way for him to start, spray paint Chaos black, highlight with white and bleached bone - (me adding the details , banners etc) good sized army and painted quickly
we also got the Orc and Goblin boxed sets and we play junior rules sometimes ( he hits anything he shoots at, and Im always close but he never lets a piece topple so I end up with a scarpering goblin horde every battle)

    Some quick updates:

Ammonia is coming down, albeit slowly!

A couple of shots of the guys who won't be in the tank - they are either to small or getting their own tank.

These guys hang out 24/7 - will they pair? Doubt it as they are different Genus. Might be a cool hybrid if they did tho!

    And my favorite Unicorn Clown:
