On my 125 reef I still use MH which I bought 5 years ago and I don't know much about LED lights. Can you guys suggest good but not the most expensive Led light for my 20 gal. long QT for corals? Thanks for future advice. Arthur.

I use these lights (3 of them) for my 125, and an additional one over my 40L frag tank: Value LED Fixtures | Reef Breeders LEDs

Obviously not the most expensive, yet I have found them to be very effective, & cost efficient lighting.

One of my fellow reefers suggested that I should buy PAR38 LED bulb and simple socket from Home Depot. He was sure it will easy support SPS for few weeks in my 20 gal. long QT. I can find them at Rapidled or CoralCompulsion for 79$. Cheapest option. What you guys think?

Well if you want full tank coverage, one bulb wouldn't be enough. You would need at least two, and at that cost, you could get a d120 led fixture off of eBay.
