Lol...go look at pics of my tank and make the generalized statement that mh is better. With this being said, you have a ton of options. You could do 2 x 32 inch reefbreeders fixtures, 3 mh pendants, the choices are endless. I love led.

    Wow
    Just wow.
If you go around saying MH is king, don't recommend a freaking $900 ebay fixture.

i have heard LEDs are problems yes they are cheaper but from what i've heard is that any coral you have will die in about a years time with LED. I have never tried them so this could not be true but personally i feel you could never go wrong with MH.

Lies from idiots who used terrible fixtures.
Now there are insanely good leds coming in, and there are some really nice tanks with leds on them.

Sigh. I am new to hobby (around a year in) and have two reef tanks. Somewhere around 25-30 different kinds of coral. All under LED. All growing, including softies, Zoas, mushrooms, ricordeas, LPS, and SPS. What you heard is definitely not true. LEDs are not for everyone, but to say that aren't for anyone is just silly (more from the person that you heard that from). There are tons of great LED lit SPS dominant tanks on this forum if you have some time to search. Some truly impressive tanks IMO.

No worries. Again, I am more upset that you heard that in the first place rather than repeating it. I have no problem with people telling others what worked for them of course.
