    Couldn't stand the smell....

I can't do much else until hubby get the closed loop all set up with the Oceans Motions.... and the hole in the wall.... let's not forget the hole in the wall.

There's one thing in there that is functionally stupid... but it needed to go there. So there's a Plan B. Can you picture the seemingly n00b mistake. As I was doing it I was thinking "I hope I don't regret this too much". Actually, you can see it better in the picture in the post above.

Greg is building a stand of sorts to raise the skimmer up.

I need to finish the tank stand and make my door pulls.

LOL contact cement high no good, good looking progress. So the genesis water change how does it work? like will you need to have a separate bucket barrel for waste water or...?

Ah, ok. The sump just looks really tall. Standard dimensions?

It will actually empty to an outside drainage system, but if you didn't have that, you would need a waste container as well.

It's basically not the idea that is unique, it's the precision. It will perfectly measure the exchange.

    .... and I like gadgets

It could be a 60g.... and it may not be standard. This one is at least 10 years old.

Nope, it's not the skimmer, the skimmer fits. We need to raise it up because it needs to be higher than th ewater line so it drains downward. We may end up replacing that.
