    You see hubby!

Have y'all seen Apollo 13? (If you haven't, you really should). There's a scene in there where they have to manually redirect the ship. The "burn in". Do you remember how frantic they sounded during the procedure on the wife's speaker box? That's what it sounded like here during the hole drilling. Had to apologize to the 14 year old for the cursing.... REAL cursing.

    Big things left to do.....
    - Decide on chiller (may wait until next summer for the permanent one to see what size we need).
    - Decide on lights.
    - Tile ledge.
    - Stain and put on doors. The staining will be last. I don't want to dins it during the building. Oopsies can be sanded out at this point.

I'll put some pictures up later of the stuff I get done. I know this is super slow, but things like that hole, that actually took me TWO days (plus 3 weeks waiting for the hole saw, cancelling THAT order and getting this from Amazon.com). I can't go to the hardware store until hubby gets home because the ole dog isn't doing well. Has fallen a couple of times this weekend. Guess were getting close to putting her down. I don't like to leave her alone because I'm afraid she'll fall while we're gone and be stuck like that for a couple of hours. Other things impeding progress. My Mom was diagnosed with cancer a couple of days before Christmas. My Aunt, who I spent summers with on an Island, she was diagnosed with cancer yesterday. They are in Eastern Canada and I on the West USA coast.... and can't fly. I'm waiting for surgery on my back, can't fly now and won't be able to fly for sometime after due to clot risks.

Youngin's, don't move to far from your parents if you don't have to. There's always a sense of loss when you get older.

How is the Genesis system working out? Interested in purchasing one and want to know if you think it's worth it and does everything it says it can.

More importantly, how are you recovering from your back surgery Incognito? I hope it went well and that you are feeling better and better everyday...

    "Mr. Incognito" here...

I dunno how much she's getting around on the forums, and since I was lurking this AM, I'll answer.

She's getting a bit better every day. She can't sit for more than 30 mins at a time, so she has to stand or lie down. No bending, twisting lifting either.

She's getting a little antsy, but at the same time, I think her body tells her "nope, don't do that" if she tries to overdo it.

Thanks for the concern and well wishes.

Glad to hear she is healing, even if it is not as fast as she would like. I've been there too (although not with back surgery). Thanks for letting us know how she is doing and give her our best!

Well this was a hoot and a half. The idea of crawling up inside that tank feels like it's never going to happen again.

Thanks for the well wishes. I was SO close to having it done before the surgery... so so close.
