210g "Things with Stings" Tank

Are you still using this (genesis water change system right?) Did you ever write a review?

 

It's physically hooked up, but we won't actually run it until it's cycled. No need of water changes just yet!

But the review thus far..... it's confusing to hook up! I think they actually made it a little easier on their more current models, with the wires being actually labelled. But I'd need to go look at that again, as I was just glancing really quick. I'm surprised the neighbors never called the cops while Hubby and I tried to "figure it out"!!!!!

Ammonia still at 5. I'm going to assume, due to the fluctuation, that there are old decaying critters within this dead rock. I'm just going to let it run it's course, as it could spike another 10 times. Normally, I would do a water change.

 

Whoa! Ammonia of 8. Don't believe I've ever seen it so high!
