Do you have a bit of money to spend on lighting? How about the new reef capable leds from...marineland(I think). Made to support hard corals, it should be perfect for your tank with a height of 24". How long is the tank? :-/

It's pretty much always in the 70s here.... one of the bennies of living here. But that's about it, actually.

That's an interesting light. I haven't thought about cost.... it is what it is, I guess. This tank is inbetween the living room and the kitchen/dining area. It has to be right.

 

I'm now thinking T5s. The LEDS are not quite where I would like them to be yet, for a larger tank, in particular.

i can't wait until this bad boy tank is done.
i love watching people make stands for tanks and canopy. watching them put it all tougher is just fun watching.
