210gal return pump? Maybe eheim 1262 or blowhole 1450?

    You should look at the Water Blaster pumps like Reeflow pumps they are back with great Customer Service. Maxflow from Laguna is a nice option too, strong and very quite.

    Yes they can be used internal or external.
    I suggested the WaterBlaster HY-5000 in one of your other threads. Very happy with mine.

    At my 5ft of height it looks like that pump drops to around 650gph.... That seems pretty weak for a pump starting out so strong...

    Their curve is very conservative. I think its half again more than my older Ocean Runner 3500 was putting out with close to the same rating. It comes very close to outrunning a 1" overflow without throttling it down, my tank level rose 1/2" from where it used to be and the level is now almost to the top of the teeth on the internal overflow box. Best of all is its completely silent and uses less energy, very efficient.

    Leaning towards the eheim 1262 for a slower flow sump setup... Thoughts?
