Thanks. The aquascape is really 3 dimensional because the tanks depth is amazing now that that black divider isnt in there anymore. I love it and cant wait to see little fishies swimming through it. Well whats your opinion. I filled the DT up on the 1st of november but didnt start the sump/filtration till today. whats the tanks birthday? today or the first?

Birthday is the day the water hits the bottom of the tank...IMO. Looks great!! I know that was alot of work, and alot of money to scrape together. Good Job and nice video. I know how frustrating it can be when you take the time to do what everyone wants, and post pics. Then you get like 3-4 comments.......sucks. Keep up the good work, and I will follow your progress!!

sorry for the blurry picture (took on blackberry) but i just hooked up a spare pump that i had to my system! its a 400gph and 380gph and with head loss that should be around the overflow rating of 600gph. Cant wait for the glue to dry to see this thing running full throttle! To explain what i did, if you will look at the pump with the T attached to it, that was originally just one long line of pvc but i took the pump and the pvc line out of the sump, cut the pvc, placed the T on the line, and then fitted the rest of the parts for the other pump.

And get this, i used all spare parts! didnt make a single trip to home depot ;D not really like me. But i am going to have to make a trip to home depot to buy another T pipe so i can split the return into 2 lines but other than that, the project was free and took under 20 minutes!

EDIT: and for those wondering, yes, it was a PITA to get this pump and pvc line out of my sump ;D dont ask how i did but all that matters is that i did, right? ;)
