Just an update, my skimmer broke so with no hassle at all, the manufacturer sent me a new one, completely free of charge and i got my moon lights in (from china, dont pick the cheapest shipping method when shipping over seas :p) and they look AWESOME! Super slick design, has to be less than a half an inch think and has 20 LEDs. Its so so bright and very easy to install. Highly recommended. It is also greatly and neatly constructed, simplicity was in mind while planning this product. And just to update this thread, i know all of you probably already know, but i ordered a 150 watt halide with 2 14 watt T5HO actinics. Great fixture, its coming in the mail tomorrow along with a sps 14k light bulb. cant wait till the tank clears completely so i can take pictures and videos!

Great news! Thanks to Basile, I started a pvc sculpture project last night. Im not going to post pictures right now but i will for sure when im done. Its looking really cool and its a great idea. I just wanna thank basile again. Im done with the pvc structure and i started to put rocks with zipties at the base but time flew and it was too late to continue. I also have to go to petco to get crushed coral so i can "great stuff" the crap out of this thing haha and i have to go to home depot to get more zip ties and more pvc and "t"s so i can start my reef volcano project as well (i will update you on this project once its done as well ;D) ... CANT WAIT!

NOTE TO SELF AND OTHERS: Use marco rock for this project! The majority of the rock is already porous enough that you can just put a zip tie anywhere and no need to drill! I only drilled one or two rocks so far and broke a lot more ;D (they were too big)

Again just to update this thread, i purchased a Reef Octopus NWB-110 Skimmer 2009 model. Cant wait for that to get here!

Thanks! Ya the light came, its better than what i expected. I replaced the bulb with an SPS®, although it wasnt exactly necessary (IMO). I hung the fixture from the ceiling and it looks awesome. Sorry i know you might wanna see all this but ill take pics when its all done. But all in all im really impressed for $99 :eek:

I just installed my second strip of moonlights onto my mh pennant, wired it through the pennant actually. It looks pretty professional if i do say so myself :) The tank is coming along GREAT, sculptures coming along GREAT, waters crystal clear, love the mix of sand i made, 20 lbs live agronite kinda fine and and the other is 5-7 lbs small crushed coral, I think the light mixture with my mh/t5 i made is awesome with my sps bulb. The fixture looks GREAT over the tank! Water flow is awesome, for i changed up the return plumbing so there are a lot less 90s and a lot more straight pvc. Hmm what else. O ya my skimmers coming in the mail tomorrow, it took from december 3rd to 5th to get from California to my house in cleveland ohio, for 7.99 shipping!:eek: and its just standard shipping too... weird. What else... This fish tank has made me really handy through the years so i just got done wiring my surround sound system that i got on black friday through my walls in my room (this is where the tank is). Not a wire to be seen! Hmmm... i guess nothing else but everythings coming along great! My mom is out of town with the camera but when she gets back ill take lots of pictures. I love the rimless design of this tank and then + the bowfront and glacier egdes, its olmost the perfect tank IMO. I didnt skimp on equiptment on any aspect for this tank, hope it pays back!

    Well cheers!

Great news, i am investing in an mp10 and i should place the order within 1-2 weeks. Cant wait! This tank truly is about aesthetics, as i mentioned above; glacier edges, bowfront, rimless, extra thick glass, great matching stand, no equiptment in the tank other than the soon to be mp10. Wish i could take pictures!

Its hard to believe that this tank is 1 month and 5 days in already, went so quick!
