    It worked out well, i've always wanted some sort of equipment room for the extra space, it got small quickly with the 75 sump and the brute can,
    still enough room to move around tho.

    curious on how high the watter level is in your skimmer section

    The baffle is 14" in the skimmer section, The skimmer itself is at 6.5" sitting on an eggcrate stand I made.

    Nice build. I put my sump in the same place. It was awesome. It was't a straight stairway though so I had a bit more room on the other side.

    It is very arid here in Colorado... I thought things were fine for a while until I finally saw mold on the other side. I got a small dehumidifier and it cleared it up. You might be different, but keep on the look out. Mine was small for bathrooms and it was only around $70.

    Thanks for the heads up Powerman, that was a concern of mine , I installed an exhaust fan venting to the outside. Hopefully that will help keep down the the humidity in there.
    I will be keeping an eye out tho.
