    Flatworm exit

I would dip all livestock in salifert FLATWORM EXIT before adding to tank. I would also add a few peppermint shrimp to nip apitasia in the bud. Inpect EVERYTHING for signs of vermitid snails. I suspect the addition of damsels ate the strings off of mine thus wiping them out.

I inspect and dip everything prior to adding , no aiptasia or vermitid's so far "knock on wood".

    Flatworms are little BOOGERS

I think flatworms are immune to most dips. Watch out for swap meets, they're a great place to pick up flatworms.I got mine two rears ago like that. Once they're in your tank nothing over the counter will eradicate them. You've got to knock the little boogers out in the dip bucket with triple dose FLATWORM EXIT before they get into your reef.

Are vermitids those small worm guys that mke those annoying calcium tubes? I have these growing all over, every week or so I'll go through and snap them all off, but they grow back. I don't see them a problem besides being shrp, unsightly, and the potential to disturb corals with their slime. Any feedbck on their removal would be appreciated.
Nice build btw its coming along gret!

    Vermitid Blues

I'm not sure what exactly did mine in. I added bumble bee snails, stopped feeding foods the vermitids can snag and reel in, and added a medly of damsels (I suspect damsels like to slurp filaments.)

In any event, the vermitids are all gone and I continue to HATE them.

Please pass karma if you suspect this too be helpful.
