Yeah , that sounds like vermitid's. You can try some super glue over their tubes after you break them off , that usually kills them. I've heard mixed results with emerald crabs too.

    Like Cockroaches

The way I see it vermitid infestations are like cockroach infestations, stepping on them doesn't help. If I had to eliminate a small qty while underwater I would roll some soft reef putty epoxy over their nasty little tubes.

A few new updates on my tank , added some nice acro colonies from wt sps , and an Achilles tang from dd.
Setup a bubble magus dosing pump to supplement my kalk reactor.
I will post some pics later :)

Awesome Tank and setup! Amazing fish and great coral selection. It's coming together quite nicely. Congratz!

Selcon and UV. Love the tangs. How do the Naso and Achilles feel about one another? Also is that a Marshal Island facility purple stylo?!?!

    Thank You!

He eats like a pig , going on 3 weeks now so far so good, knock on wood.

I use selcon but no u/v , the tangs get along very well, they spend most of their time swimming together which surprised me , I was worried about them fighting.
I'm not sure where the corals came from, my buddy who owns the lfs said it was a secret LOL. I only paid $40 for all 4 so i'm happy.
