I love Monti caps and birdnests too. Sorry to see that happen. BTW: Earlier in ur thread I saw issues with blue/green cyano. I had the same problem hanging in there for months on my tank despite water parameters being perfect. I have 3 Aquaclear 802s plus return pump moving water in my tank (75g). I just cleaned out 2 of the 802s. They were pretty well blocked up with stuff. Cleaned them and saw significant flow increase. In 2 days cyano melted away. So, thinking maybe not enough flow to the bottom quadrants of ur tank. This is aside from the Alk issues you've had. Wish u well.

Something interesting to note: I have had a sohal tang for quite sometime. Its quite the bully and I should have never put it in my tank. Today at lunch, I noticed my Foxface was quite active (usually stays in a corner). I couldnt find the tang anywhere. I went into my fish room and found the tang in the overflow. I netted it and placed it in my fuge.

Anyone want to buy a sohal tang???

Ha, I've worked hard to pare my fish down to peaceniks only. The sailfin bully was an experience I don't care to repeat.

Any news on the damage to your corals? Has it stopped progressing?

I've never seen my fish (esp my foxface) so happy now that the tang is gone. It's only day one. So stoked. Corals are doing better but need some time before they really make a come back to the caliber they were. Here's a few pics.

Also I installed a live feed to my phone.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Nice FTS civic. It's amazing what the mere presence of a bully fish can do to all the other tank inhabitants.
