225 Blue and White Mixed LED Light Panel

I have 18 watts of leds over my zoas in my 6'' deep frag tank and they are doing well so I figured that 30 would be ok for nems.

 

I wasn't questioning your LED config per se, just in general stating that shallow tanks can often get away with a lot less that we think...with nems you probably do want to err a bit on the higher end though.

 

Ya I know you weren't but I just thought I would give a little bit of comparison so that he did not think it was to much. =]

 

What size is the tank and what type of LED's are you using? I've messed with some LED's on small tanks and love them...I would love to convert all of our tanks to LED someday ($$$).

 

My frag tank? it is just a old reptile tank that is 12.5 x 24 x 6.5 and I am using 1 watt leds from a seller on ebay that I found and you can order just about any temp you want. Also I will only use leds from now on, I love them on my DT and they last so much longer than any other light out there. besides the sun =P
