Patience is gold is this hobby, I would let it cycle 3 or more months then add a fish per week.

Tank should take a few weeks to cycle. The species of fish and its size and eating habits all need to be considered when adding animals. I would go slow.

Congrats on the new DT! 240? Gallons? That's going big!
You didn't say if this is your first endeavor into the hobby or not.

How long between fish? IMO- one month between each fish- most people here scoff/laugh at that however, thinking it's too long.

May we have a little more info on it? Such as you plans at this point? Types of fish?
Planning any corals? How long has this been set up for?
    Have you tested for '
    Ammonia, Nitrites, Nitrates?

The real answer to your question is kind of when your tank is done with it's initial cylcle- if you had mentioned this, than sorry I missed it.
I'm more conservative, as in one fish at a time, and one per month so that the natural system has a chance to keep up with nutrient export and things go well.

    Could we see some pictures?

    Thanks, stick around, and
Yea, pretty much what they said.

What fish are you looking to add? You might have to add some in a particular order, or some together.

go big or go home right ;D
this is not my first tank years ago I had a 55 then upgraded to a 120, but it has been a few years and I did make some mistakes back then that I am trying not to repeat. I bought all my rock dry and let it cured for two months, sand also was dry. Used all R/o water with reef crystals then added foster smith bacteria. Tank has been running for 3 weeks now and all levels are scary perfect, I added 6 green chromis on Monday and they are doing great thus far. For the most part tank is going to be aggressive with angels, tangs wrasses and butterflies and a few anthias, no coral. I don't plan on adding any more fish till the end of the month and then going from there.
