OK guys, here is the latest!
I took the tank down in October upon the sale of my home. With the housing crash we were fortunate to be able to move to a home closer to work and the kids school. This move trimmed out 1.5 hours/day of our daily commute. The tank celebrated it's tenth b-day and was awarded August 2013 Tank of the Month on another site. I actually didn’t mind tearing it down because I knew that eventually I will have the opportunity to change a lot of things that I did wrong the first time around. This tank was designed in 2004 and I have learned a lot since then. We now have a new home but we are still in the process of updating and making it ours. As for the tank I need to redo the flooring, baseboards, and paint the room before I can proceed with a tank. Not easy to do those things with a 5000+ lb tank in the way.
The tank is pretty much planned out. With the garage on the other side of the wall from the tank I will be doing all the filtration out there. I will also finally have the ability to add a frag tank to the system. Here is my plan for a new system:

    60” x 36” x 27” glass tank
ATB 1260 external or ATI Powercone 250i protein skimmer (Maybe both)
    Aquamaxx S-2 Calcium Reactor
    Tunze 6105 Stream Powerheads
Lighting will be 100% LED. Looking at: ATI Sirrius, AI Hydra 52, EuroQuatics Angel A1p, Ecotech Marine Radion Pro, and the Kessil AP700. Look to get started some time in 2015.

Greg that sounds great. How nice to have the garage to put all the hardware and sump. That will be nice and really reduce noise. I bet you are looking forward to that. I look forward to the new build thread. :)

I can assure you that that was a feature I was looking for when shopping for a home.
