    Thanks SourGummy!

This tank is looking better and better every day and several of the corals are starting to spread (the weed softies), like the green/yellow clove polyps, GSP, and anthelia.

Pom-pom xenia looks happy but not spreading, but that's no real surprise.

So far, all good news all the way around.

The tank is cycled, and I have 4 chromis in there now.

Of course, the algae barrage has started. I have diatom galore. But it's short lived with the low level of feeding I'm doing.

I will try to get some pics up soon, but here is what I now have in this tank. All fish are quite small, none of them more than about 1.5".

They were also added sequentially, not all at once.

    4 blue/green chromis
1 picassalmost clown (ie, picasso cull, looks nearly picasso)
    1 six-line wrasse
2 striped killifish (Fundulus majalis, a native to South Carolina beaches)
    1 spotted hawkfish.

The only thing I still want to add is either a yellow canary blenny or a yellow midas. I'll probably go with the canary since they stay small.

Also moved in a lot of coral. Everything is going very well. The only fish death I've had is 1 of the 5 chromis I bought, which isn't uncommon. He died overnight, on the first night.

Wait, am I reading this correctly?

9 fish in that little tank? I only have 3 in my 29 Biocube, I hope you don't have any bio-load issues.

Killifish are freshwater I believe. Unlike mollies I dint think they can survive long term. Also the tanks a bit crowded.

Lol chelsea is constantly hawkin this thread for oppertunities to tell you that you're worng. Trolol.

Anyways i like the look you going for, and im rooting for you. But i know how difficult it can be to keep a thriving tank with all the nessasary equipment, and your doing it withou any of it.

Just know that when/if this fails, cheslea is going pwn your face.

Please note the following two green goniopora colonies are not the "certain death" G. stokesi. I am not sure exactly what specie they are, but I am positive they are not stokesi. I have had both of these for about 6 months now and they are growing. Slowly, but they are adding new corralites to the skeleton.

As they grow, I might have a bioload issue. Right now they are all quite small. Definitely not a bio-load issue right now.

Come on now. Google is your friend. Just look up Fundulus majalis. While you are at it, look up Fundulus heteroclitus. Both are killifish that are marine/brackish, and seem to prefer marine conditions, and are found by the scads along the Eastern seaboard. Make great bait too.

Plus the fact that I said these came from coastal beaches. I caught them myself, quarantined them, and they are doing great.

Um excuse me? WTH is that all about. You are the one telling him he doesn't have the correct equipment to keep the tank goin. That's the pot calling the kettle black.

To the OP, some good looking corals ya got yourself there. Do you have a recent fts?

How many gallons approximately does the tank hold? Like biocube said even for a 30 gallon tank that's too many fish. Not necessarily a bio load issue but severe lack if swim room.
