Which will produce the most pods? 24/7 lighting or reverse photoperiod?

I have a POD farm. I pretty much never give them light... they live in the dark at my house...

Correct me if Im wrong, but lighting has nothing to do with Pod population. Now, if you have multi predators that feed on Pods, thats when you'll start to see a decline or the reverse Scenario.

I guess what I'm getting at is I want as much pod production from my fuge as possible. I have to have light on the fuge for the macro.. so what I'm getting at is will the pods produce more if they have darkness for a whiles, as in the fuge light stays on only at night (reverse photoperiod..) or will there be less pod production in there if the lights are on 24/7.

Thanks guru gonna get the PVC cuttings!.. So I guess if I have some darkness in there, there will be more pods.. right?

No predators are in my fuge.. hoping that if I leave the light on during the day many will fly into the DP to help supplement my Mandarin's diet, when I am not target feeding her

Pods are nocturnal, and do most of their activities (including breeding) happen at night. So reverse would be best, as at least they would get a period of darkness.

Yeah, I hate that nocturnal thing. Wish my mandarin would come out more during the day... .just see him hunting at night. Algae also needs a dark part of the light cycle to properly expel waste.
