Does anyone here have experience with the aquapod? I am thinking of buying one. What are you opinions? Also has anyone found a protein skimmer that will fit in the filtration compartment?

I have one. I am really happy with it. pretty much stock. I don't have a protein filter as of yet. Have not had a huge need for one.

I have an aquapod it is a very nice and easy to maintain. Had it for 3 years and no major problems.
P.S. don't waste your money on those little protein skimmers, they don't do much because they are just too small. Buy some corals instead.

I like my Aquapod even though all thats left from the original kit is the tank itself. I have heavily modified it. My signature says it all.

I've been through a couple of skimmers. All those little nano skimmers are worthless. If you plan on using a skimmer I would try to set up a sump first. But one skimmer I would look into is the Aqua-C Remora. Its a hang-on-back style skimmer. I think it might fit into one of the rear chambers and hang off the back. It's and excellent skimmer that has gotten good reviews.
