What are the effects on a Maroon Clown if I have the lights on 24 hours in my fuge? I have the fuge as part of my display, and though it looks nice with him in there.. but now I dont know if I should keep the lights on 24/7 I have a very small amount of grape and some of the brilo stuff.. and a little spiral leaf looking stuff.

The maroon clown probably won't appreciate the 24/7 lighting, although, I don't know how it will effect it's health or growth.

By brilo stuff, I can only assume you mean chaetomorpha, which is not prone to go sexual when not kept under 24x7 lighting. The grape caulerpa could be a problem if you alternate, and I'm not sure what the spiral stuff is!

I'm sure some of the old school peeps around here might have more suggestions. 8)

yup. The fish need a rest/sleep time. Or a night-day cycle.

I agree with reiple, you need a night and day cycle. If you are trying to prevent Ph swings turn the fuge's lights off during the day and on at night. If you leave your lights on 24/7 you will stress your clown out which will eventually lead to illness.
