24'' light fixture on 30'' tank?

    Do the 24'' current usa's or any other brands have extendable legs to fit onto a 30'' tank?

    Also, which halide or t5 set up would be enough for my 29gal which is 18'' high ? I dont want to be limited as to what i could put in the tank, but dont want to go over kill.

    I would go with a MH pendant hung over the tank, a clamp MH lamp, or a 24" GOOD T5 fixture hung over the tank like a Tek light 4 bulb. Any of these options should be able to grow mostly everything in a 29 gal tank.

    If it helps, I use a 36" fixture on my tank. Works perfect!
