Thanks Vinny ... I checked my levels today ... 0 ammonia almost 0 nitartes. I might pick up some little crabs this weekend from the lfs sunday if the levels are at zero. I talked to a local guy that doesn't have a fish store but sells to other reefers in my area. He suggested some of the smaller wrasses. Said the same about the clowns. He's got a pair of oc clowns that have been together for a few weeks. No watchmen gobi's but he could get one for me if I wanted. The LFS I got my tank from has one they have had for about 3-4 weeks. Might take a shot at him for only 11.99? Thoughts?

Thanks, I just moved it around again ... I moved it more center to help with flow behind the rock. I checked my levels again 0 ammonia 0 nitrite and a trace of nitrite. A friend of mine stopped by to say hello and brought me a few hermits from his tank. I guess they will be ok?

Yeah gobies usually make great nano fish and occupy the sand area.;)
Not sure which wrasses you can get but I would only choose a Pink Streaked,Possum,or a Tanaka Wrasse for a small aquarium.None of these get big and are non aggresive. You could add one of these before the clowns if you wish.Good luck!!

It should help with the flow ... I'll keep an eye on the Hermits and add the rest of the CUC next week. I'm gonna skip the watchman from my LFS, I stopped in tonight and the woman that runs the store couldn't tell me what he's eating and what salinity they keep there tanks at ... Then proceeded to sell a guy who has a 29g nano a fire angel and 2 damsels all at the same time ( o and hes currently housing a tomato clown and another damsel). Pretty sure I'm not gonna be buying any fish from there. Shame cause they had a few that were pretty cheap. Think I'll try another source or two, I'm not in a huge rush. Everything in this hobby takes time. I'm really learning to be patient.

Looks great I really like it. Don't forget though it will be necessary for you to continue to ghost feed the tank to keep your bacteria alive.Without the fish adding nutrients they will starve. It will also give your CUC a supplemental food source.;)

Good to know. If I ghost feed should I just feed a small amount? I just used some old cichlid food I had laying around, Is it ok to use that or should I use some marine food? If everything goes well until next weekend am I ok to do a 10% water change and to add a fish or should I wait. I don't want to rush things but I feel like the tank is ready but most people say if you think its ready wait a week??

Using the cichlid food is O.K. for now but you will definitely want to get a small variety of Marine foods in the future. If you are worried about the CUC starving its always nice to have some algae wafers on hand as well. And yes a small ammount is fine.Basically you should feed what you would for one fish.
I would say to do a WC as long as your ammonia and Nitrites remain at zero after ghost feeding a couple days then you could add one small fish just make sure its a docile species.;)Good luck and be sure to take some pics of any new inhabitants. We love pictures.;)

I've only got 6 small hermits in there now for a CUC. I'll be sure to ghost feed a small bit for a few days and check for spikes. I'm a bit of a photo bug so I'll be sure to post lots of pictures.
