Does the urchin not eat bubble algae? How rough is he on the coral? Move things around a lot?

No it did not touch the BA.I didn't have a problem with it moving anything but they can.Matt has had one for a long time so maybe pm him and see if its a problem for him.
Mine seemed to steer clear of my mushrooms and zoas but I don't think they will harm any corals.
My urchin unfortunately passed. Not quite sure why. it happened very quickly.

Well its been a while and I figured I better post some pics before Cheryl starts thinking shes better then me.lol:p:D
I replaced the Emporer Biowheel hob with a tiny Penguin. The Emporer was just too loud/big and made alot of salt form on my lights. There is also a major flaw in the cutout of this acrylic tank which makes finding an hob that will actually fit a pain in the rear.I was so afraid I wouldn't have enough gas exchange with the switch.
This thing is tiny but so easy to manage and clean.Virtually silent.

Heres the problem.Look how tight the cutout is.
I know its fairly easy to correct but not when its full.lol

If you were to remove the lower cover it would spill out on top. This one fits nice and salt creep will be minor. The emporers was much easier to knock off which made me extremely nervous.
So what happened??2 days after installing the filter with just the included carbon almost every bit of cyano disappeared.o_Oo_O:confused::confused:

^^^^^Can you spot the 3 fish in this pic??If you can you win a prize.:)

vvvvThis was the only cyano i could find.lol

I can't see the 3.. Things looking good
There are a lot of cool shrooms out there. Back in the late 90's I had a 125 that was loaded with all kinds of different mushrooms. Thing was beautiful.

You are correct in your assumption that those Mushrooms are gorgeous and I only found 2 fish.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Mushrooms were my first love in the coral department. It take a lot of restraint not to add any to my tank.

So why do you think the cyano disappeared? More flow, more 02, higher pH?

    I DO NOT see 3 fish, it's a trick?

As us older folks say your Platygyra is the bomb, bogus too.
