    thanks ocean,

lol, the 6-lamp 60" T5 setup has been for sale for all of 3 hours now and I already have a line for it. shipping to cali would be pretty expensive, and I would have to track down the styro bulb box. trying to keep it local for the time being.

I didn't get as much as I had hoped this weekend, but it's still progress. After a few trips to the hardware store I finally got some hinges that will work how I want them, got the doors made and hung.

I started planning out my plumbing and getting what I'll need together. Should be able to get that started once the interior painting and sealing is complete. I was going to have a custom sump built, but it would have been like $250 and a 20T is almost the same dimensions. Planning to have a return manifold with 3 outlets for the returns and a media reactor. Might add in a SCWD to the upper returns, but not 100% sure yet.

Got the inside painted and a few holes drilled for circulation fans and did a TON of sanding. Also got the plumbing where I wanted it, glued and painted it. Now if I could just get my SWC skimmer I would be in good shape.

hopefully tomorrow I will be able to get the outside prepped and ready for paint.

Work has been really slow at my shop, the up side is having an extra 4-6 hours a day surrounded by tools and this project.

I was feeling frisky and painted all my plumbing with left over krylon fusion. the large black thing is the return manifold, here is a better pic.

I still need to straighten out the brackets holding it up, and connect the return lines, but that will have to wait until after the exterior is finished.

    Thanks for the comments!

I had an interesting thought earlier for painting the exterior . . .

Some of you may have seen the pool table I built a while back, I ended up using a truck bed liner for a really cool textured (probably waterproof?) and durable finish on it. Now, I'm considering doing the same to the stands exterior . . . any thoughts?
