It is a dry heat, yeah right !
The Tusk looks small in there. I thought those were Anthias. You're obviously making the Angel fish thing work, good for you. There seems to be a ton of activity and that probably keeps every body distracted and busy. Where are you getting the Quoyi parrotfish from?

Ibluewater- I think I will have Bob look for the remaining two fish for me. Bob acclimated the two pairs of angelfish together for me prior to shipping them (see the video of them feeding earlier in the thread). I don't know if I would of been comfortable any other way. None of the angels seem the least bit aggressive towards each other at this point. I will be keeping a very close eye on it. If anything changes Alex is getting an angelfish or two!

I think I have a bunch of fish kicking up sand. I see my trigger and butterfly fish doing this specifically. I just dislike it because it cloudys everything up from time to time. I know the sand is new and needs to settle but every time it get cloudy i get worried!

p.s. It clears up pretty quickly so I am not too concerned it is something else going on

p.s.s. new lights get here Tuesday

Your sand keeps getting kicked up because you got super fine sugar sand.

Update- I had a bad case of marine velvet and lost all my fish. Ya- that ****ty

further update, my lights arrived (reef breeder photon) and I love them tremendously. Even more love, is my Vertex Alpha 250 skimmer- this thing is a beast!

Next steps is a fallow tank and setting up a QT tank with copper

You should get a picture when you hang the lights. How are you going to mount them?

I took all these great photons on the nikon but the website won't let me post them and I have a lack of access relationship with shutterfly.

Vectra "auto neck cleaner" installed today. I also have the last pieces to my auto top off! The only thing missing is fish
