no- but then I haven't put the bulk of the live rock in it yet so i wouldn't expect it to be filtering until I do

Well thats the kicker. If you have any nh4/no2 I would say watch out, even with the new rock. But if there is nothing then a full transfer would be fine imo.

+1 to Alex. If ammonia is 0 now, move all of your rock over now. Then you should be fine with those additions after another week or so. I just did this when I transferred my rock from my 55 to my 125.

Oh, and I love the Bellus Angels, so looking forward to seeing it!

FWIW, I would just move everything over also. As said, make sure your levels are ok and then go for it! Are you going to have both tanks up and running or just the 250? I'm going to go look up those angels that were mentioned.

Oh, and I'm a little slow, I did not get the "catch the house on fire?" I really want to get it too lol

Just went and looked.....very nice selection of angelfish Tom! Man, there are some serious high priced fish on that page

They are not cheap- but Angelfish should last 20 years and I am overthinking this "full spectrum' of colors in my fish

og my! No, I am not looking to get a Clarion! I like them but not enough to drop that kind of money.... the most I am willing to spend on a fish is in the hundreds (and low at that), not thousands!
