250 metal halide reflector

    can any one recomend a inexpensive reflector that works well . it is for a 75gallon 3 foot wide tank and will not be supplemented with actinic i need a reflector that is less then 4 inches deep. thx

    If you have a hydroponic store around you they sell reflectors much cheaper than the aquarium suppliers. I bought them for 20 bucks each. as well as halide ballasts and bulbs.

    I will say that there are no good reflectors that are less than 4 inches deep.

    But with that said, a reflector like this one.
    Parabolic Reflector - 6464090

    You can spread it out and get a better spread of light, but it is not a great reflector to be honest, but it is a lot better than no reflector.
