I am wondering what kind of replacement bulb I should get. I just got a viper clamp on 250W MH. I am going to buy a replacement bulb and would like some opinions on which bulb I should get. I was looking for a radium 20k but I couldn't find any that were double ended.

Phoenix 14K would be my pick.

For 250 watt DE, I suggest the following
EVC 20K - super blue with actinic like spike
    Phoenix 14K - almost Radium 20K
Iwasaki 14K - white with blue tint
Ushio 14K - for the 10K lovers. White with no yellow or blue.

Oh boy this is going to be a long discussion.. Gcarroll has it about right.. It all boils down to taste as well as your ballast ability to drive the bulb..

I think they only make the Radium in 20k SE in a 150w version, I'm like 90% sure.

I run a Radium 20K SE 250w on my cube and love it. For 250w DE I would suggest the Phoenix 14k most def.

As others mentioned, reflector and ballast will impact hugely on how the bulb performs for you.

You should be fine and they are not badly priced either.
