Hello everyone.. I have been wanting to start a thread about our tanks progress.. So I guess never is to late.. About year ago we had a really bad out break of GHA, at least we thought it was:-/.. We found out through all the help from you guys at 3reef that it turned out to be bryopsis. After months of battling it and doing everything suggested we unfortunitly threw in the towel and started over:cry:.. Here is our before, during, and current.

This was our tank it its worst..

The best it ever got... We even switched out the cc for sand...

This was the temp home for the fish while the tank was cycling.. Unfortanitly we lost our damsle.. He committed suicide and thought the floor was a better home .. Our six line wrass got eaten by an anenomy we tried to have.. The anenomy had gone to a better place after I told my husband to take care of it... Im not sure what he did to it but at least it is out of my tank!! lol...

Our tank as of 1 week ago.. It has been running for about 7-8 months now.. and our coraline is slowly comin in!! We are at the tail end of a cyno out brake, we upped our flow, cut the lights down, added some chaeto algae, and have been doing water changes every 3 days and the cyno is almost gone :)!! We upgraded our canister filter to a wet dry when we did the re-do. This is what it looks like for now..

We clean the bio bale every other water change.. and clean the spnonge every water change.. On the right side is ware the cheato algae is for now.. Tell we can get a hob refugium... Well thats all I have for now.. Let me know what you all think and Enjoy! ;D

I forgot to add a pic of the green flower pot.. I thought you guys would like to see it open.. Our clowns kept swimming through it so now we have a net around it..

Did you re-do it, or were you lucky to find a cure?? This stuff sucks ..I am very careful from were I buy my stuff now.. I hope know one ever has to go through this.. Or at least if they do I hope they can make it go away.. This is something no one should have to do.. At least the future is looking brighter :).. Good luck to us both!
