The Vortechs are simply amazing. They have pulled so much detritus out from behind my rocks and off of my sandbed that I've had to take the foam pad off of them each night for the past week and rinse it off in the sink. I think the deep cleaning is almost complete now as my rocks and sand bed are squeaky clean. You don't get that same kind of undertow effect with powerheads. My Sps have greatly enjoyed the variable flow patterns and have shown great polyp extension. I would definitely recommend Voetechs to other reefers with corals and/or fish that prefer high flow/surge zones.

The ballast are in!!!! Joey is leaving in a min to pick them up. Also did some shopping today and went a little crazy.lol I'll have a ton of pics to post later once we get the lights turned on. Until then here's a pic of the inverts we picked up today. We're currently acclimating them. Blue spiny lobster, cleaner shrimp, pistol shrimp, and peppermint shrimp. We got the pistol shrimp a watchmen today as well.
