27 Cube Reef---new skimmer

put a nice hangon skimmer life rock and water changes are my vote

 

A little update today. I ordered my ro/di unit and mag7 return pump from BRS. I also place an order with glass holes for a overflow and return kit. Pretty excited to get this started.

 

im sitting here at work and i got a message from my fiance that my package from Bulk reef supply came. So i will be busy setting up my new ro/di unit when i get home. I can hardly contain myself.

 

I just got the ro/di running, it is currently flushing out for the hour.

 

I just drilled my tank....finally. I was really nervous about doing it so i picked up a 10 gallon and tried it on that first, i did this because i heard that 10 gallons can be the hardest to drill since the glass is so thin. the 10 went great so i did the 27. right now it outside and the black paint is drying. I throw some pics up after i all done with everything.

 

The tank is up and running as of may 21st. The overflow and return kit is from glass holes and the return pump is a mag 7. The sump consists of a 10 gallon with baffles to include a bubble trap, fuge, and return section. Here are some pictures of the tank.

Would an mp10 be good for circulation? Would it bee too little, or too much?
