28 gallon nano cube HQI

My tank after one month. Still have a lot planned for it, this is just the begginging. Will post more pics soon.

do those lights get too hot?

 

aquascape looks great,it'll look really good with lots of coral in there!

 

thanks it took me about 2 hours to get all the rock to sit the way i wanted it to.

 

those lights do get really hot. I did not think it would be a big deal, but the temp can rise 5 degrees or more in 8 hours. It sucks and i did not want to buy a chiller cause its big dollars. Instead they make a fan for the nano, its only about 50 bucks, but it is pretty loud considering on the box it said, "Quiet Operation" yeah dont believe everything you read. It does the job though and temp swings are not a prob anymore.

 

Where did you go? Aquatic Treasures?

 

no aquatic treasures kinda screwed me over with a store credit issue. I went to gateway aquatics they have great deals on corals and there stuff is really nice. The store is not as big as AT, but they have a nice set up. Its only 20-25 minutes from Belleville, in south county.
