I just got mine running as well, and am using an Eshopps PSK-75H. So far, so good! It is a little on the loud side though, but, not much louder than the lighting itself (with the cooling fans). I actually run the skimmer opposite the lights right now, since I have very little bio-load anyways.

I have a PSK-100H on a tank in our bedroom and I don't mind it. It is a lot quieter than the Coralife 65 I previously had. But there are quieter models out there of course.

I would be very wary of adding a Puffer to that tank. They can be extremely aggresive and will definitely limit what other fish you could safely house.:( If you are going to try it I would definitely add it last.

I agree with Vinny, do not limit the corals/inverts/fish you can put in the tank by housing a puffer.

There was another member that tried it and it turned into an algae nightmare. Tank is just not big enough to handle the feedings required. It might work for months, as soon as you slack a little it all goes to algae.

As far as skimmers go i would go with the tunze 9002. Ive had both the tunze and the remora on my own 28g cube, and the tunze is quieter and seems to skim better. If your considering a goby/ pistol pair, you might want a yasha haze goby instead of a yellow watchman. Not a big difference just throwing it out there.
