28 Nano Stocking Advice

Thanks for all of the input everyone. It seems the Gold/Yellow Assessor is the way to go. Being these can be very reclusive, I think this should be my next addition. Here is the plan in order of when they would be added:

BSJ
Assessor
Wrasse (Possum or Pink Streaked)
Helfrinchi FF

Does the order look right in order if aggressiveness?

 

They are all very peaceful, the list seems fine

Although small enough in size for a nano. They have a big personality like most Basslets. Semi-aggressive and territorial. It wouldn't have a whole lot of room to actually call his own.
I run a 26g and do love the Basslets. But just won't risk it you know?

 

Good call. Vinny confirmed what you are saying. Everything I read said the Swalesi/Reynold's are shy, great additions to nano's. I appreciate the help though, as you guys saved me from a bad purchase!

Well, to my surprise, my LFS did have a Possum Wrasse:



Currently in the 10 gal QT, where he will be for a total of 6 weeks. He is a surprisingly not shy fish! Everything I read said they would be very shy and secretive, however he is always swimming out in the open, only going in the PVC to sleep. Even comes up to the glass when you approach

 

LA has the Helfrichi fire fish on sale right now... $70.

 

Thanks, I did see that The YBPW needs to finish his 6 weeks in the QT before I buy the next one though. Hopefully they are still on sale. My LFS also has a couple (for $100 IIRC), so if they still have one I could probably talk them down to $80-90.
