    Hello all,

I have been in and out of this hobby for a few years now and wanting to get back into it. I will be setting up a 29 gal reef nothing fancy but im wanting to get away from useing MH or T5s. I have been reading on the LED fixtures around and have been debating on one of the Reefbreeder fixtures. My question is, if I did purchase one of these fixtures, should I go with the 16" or the 24"? If you have any other suggestions for LEDs feel free to point me in the right direction.

This is just my .02 but I would, if you are able to do so, go with the 24" fixture. How wide is a 29 gallon tank?

    IIRC 29's are 30 x 12 x 18

    That's correct.

I would go with the 24".

I wouldn't get optics that are too focused though as you may create shadows on the perimeter. i would stick with the default optics (120?) or 90.

Thanks for the info. Is there another brand that anyone would suggest?
