Hello all this is a great site full of info from fellow aquariust my ? is I have a 29 gallon tank with a plenum bed that raises the bootom of the tank about 25% im running odyssea pc 10.000k and an actinic 03 at 65 watts a piece along with the tank I have a refugium just setup the tank has been running for about 5 months now with no detections on the big three ni, nat and phos
I bought an crocea clam 3 inches along with some green star polyps and and some mettalic blue mushrooms is this enough lighting to keep my animals happy ? my goal is to add color on a different variety to the tank like rocordia green sea mat etc mostly soft corals and a small carpet anenome

The coral will be alright but that clam will definitely need more light. Some bad news though the odyssea bulbs are not very good. You could trying changing bulb but you will probably need a stronger light for the clam.

Crocea clams are the most light dependant clams I would suspect you are considerably under lighting the clam. I would suggest a MH pendant. You also may have success if you regularly feed the clam

But I would improve your lighting

Ive read about feeding them or the tank ive even read sumthin bout bowl feeding 1)the tank I got the idea 2) the bowl feeding I got 3) the clam no idea? I mean she closes up lightning fast but opens just as . The lights almost make it impossible t have a pendant not unless theres a small retro kit available
