look if you do a 29 bio your only doing a 10gal upgraid so you might as well (if you have enough space) go for the 50gal and it should come out to the same price unless you want to add more fish or more rocks and etc. plus i see you can find more deals with tanks as large as fifty and up as far as filtration goes and so on and so forth.

Cubes aren't the greatest. I would go with a AGA myself. Then build it up from nothing. Don't do bare bottom, IMO. I went with black sand and love it. Skimmer yes. Hang on the back filter NO. Canister with chemipure yes. 600 whould get you everything you need NEW. Go with a 40 breeder. look at petmountian, t5 ho is great I recommend the novas you could get on to fit that tank for under 200, and a skimmer for under 150.00. 1.5 lbs lr for every gallon. sand is same. Good luck

Always remember, when starting out, the larger the better if at all possible. Much harder to mess up, you will still make plenty of mistakes yes, but when you do, it won't be as catastrophic as it would have been in the smaller tank.

Give it thought before you get jumping into stuff buddy.

    Good luck!

I had a 12 gal nano cube. Had to add a sump because of the dang thing getting so hot... Now I have a 5.5 gal with a diy hood with a open back. 72 watts over 5.5 gal and the temp only gets up to 78.7 at the most... Long story short when I get a bigger tank, I will do a open top tank not a cube..

I have decided to do the 20 gallon because it is alot cheaper. I have priced everything i need and it has come to about 290 which gives me alot of money to spend on LR fish and coral. I cant wait to order my stuff and get it all set up.

    Thnk you all for helping

I have chose a Marineland Multistage Canister Filters C-160, protein skimmer, T-5 lighting 4bulbs (56 watt), and a koralia Water Circulation Pumps Nano
