29G Sump Design. Need advise

Here is my design idea. I have PVC piping installed now, and an open system (no baffles) and wanted a cleaner more reliable set up. I was going to add my Algae turf scrubber, but opted against it. Due to maintance and such. I can always add it in the future. I want to have the largest refugium i can fit in this space. Also how much cheato do i need? I already have a DSB in my tank so it is unnecessary here. Here is what I have. Let me know if there are changes to be made.

 

That will work..looks and sounds good..I believe dsb and ruble as well as macro/cheato is necessary in the fuge...jmo So many ways to go with these things. : )
... is that a flow control on that pipe to the fuge? That looks good.
