ATO is jury rigged. It should work well until the float switches come in. Right now it is limited to two seconds of run time every two hours. That should keep me out of trouble even if there is some malfunction. The sonic ranger actually works pretty well, maybe it'd be worth keeping in there for a non controlling level indicator (evaporation rate?).

That might be as ugly as my silicone job. ::)

Yay for laziness! Now to go clean up the wires and enclose the arduino/breadboard.

No problem. :) The writeup is Here. No sonic ranger though, long term it would probably fail that close to saltwater.

Float switch installed and tweaked. It's been running for a few days without issue. Next will be the other two switches.

Now that my questions over mag and ca are answered ( thanks again guys!), I've been bumping up my alk gradually. I'll measure alk and ca/mag again in a few days and see if I need another dose of buffer.

Found this one growing a week ago, there's two now. Not sure what it is. But I'll to go the Joe's Juice route if the two of them become four.[/STRIKE]

Scratch that, looks like non-photosynthetic dendrophyllia :-[
